Win this get to the UK -fight and KO Bellew..same plan as before
Now when over there continue the beef with the Fureys which will build the purse for everyone.
Beat Hughie and then Tyson will want revenge before or after a unification fight.
All this means decent $$ for Jo and he hopefully secure his future beyond boxing

Cojanu helped him get a dodgy decision against Ruiz..

Wasn't dodgy, most people picked Parker. It's mostly just the JP haters that thought Ruiz

i from a personal point of view (and I'm sure the whole world is thinking the same) its a shame we have got this fight. but on the other hand it gives jo more time to develop. he should win this and bellew then onto hughie, at this stage he has fought for the belt 4 times and is an established champ with good dollars. so I'm happy for Joe as its a tough game and there are some good heavies out there. if AJ get through this week he will dominate for a while id say.  but at least when joe does end up fighting him he should have a good payday and be set for life. he's a pize fighter and the aim is to make as much money as possible and winning , in that order as well  imo
I agree with you, markk. Lots of development still needed, and this fight is part of that.

Aye, its a shame Bellew is in the picture at all. From pushing upwards to fight the best and unify titles we go from a weak Romanian to a glorified cruiser who only really got his previous win through massive injury. Then we go to Fury again who wont have fought by that time for 18 months upwards to two years depends when JP is ready to go again. Is this standing still, or going backwards??
It's getting thru the riff-raff on the road to AJ and Wilder. He's young, what's the hurry? Accumulate wins and $$$. I think he could beat AJ or Wilder on the day. We'll have to see how AJ goes against quality opposition.
As I said in another post die, at least AJ is set to challenge himself.
Oh, and I don't think Parker ever beats AJ
Exactly Die - JP has a title now its accumulating $$ before pushing unification.
Makes no business sense chasing AJ or Wilder this early stage.
Bellew is not a HW but he = ££ in UK so fight him makes business sense
Hughie then at least 1 more average before looking to bigger

Well, let's see if AJ stands up to quality opposition this weekend. He could crumble. As in get hurt for the first time, and panic. And come unglued. In saying that, I'm really impressed with his training. After reading that, I can's foresee his losing stamina later in the rounds. But I can see him panic.
