The thing about parker being dominant against taller fighters, the only one he's fought is dimitrenko who didnt use his height at all and folded like a cheap lawn chair.

We need to see parker face a guy who is pumping a jab from distance. Parker doesnt move his head and doesnt use educated footwork so i can envision that being a huge problem for him.

You cant just bullrush in a straight line with a static head towards a mobile jabber with reach, thats exactly what they want you to do. They will keep you turning all night long and jab you to death
To be honest, Sham, your latest reply does reek of "envy" for where KB has gotten Parker to - and the attention he gets.

There is a lot more than just 'training' that KB brings to the table - though he is clearly a very good trainer.

You need to face up to yourself. If you were training Parker he would still be in South Auckland headlining shows at the local RSA. Be honest and see that you have a bad case of envy, and truly start getting behind one of our greatest prospects in YEARS.

The bitterness is bad for your health, bro. Let it go.
To be honest kiwi I always try and avoid your posts in fear of you being offended and going into a pout for a couple of at any hint of disrespect.
Be assured chum, I hold no envy for KB whatsoever. My day is done and dusted.I had a great life running my gym and gained many friends through doing so. Have you ever run a gym? No I thought not. Frustration and jealousies move on while youre still young and you learn to enjoy the sport and the people you have around you. It's ok for you to throw shit at me because you know who I am, and it's time now for you to put your name behind your posting title.
In saying all that, I do believe I am a better coach than Barry and wouldn't be worth my salt if I didnt. We shall see if KB is a great coach in the next 3-4 fights with Jo. And remember my opinions are probably just a bit better than your guesses.
Opinions are fine.

Bitterness is not.

There truly is a "bitter" tone to a lot of your posts about these guys. I'm surprised you won't admit it.

Man up kiwi, who are you?
Bitterness isn't part of my makeup. I'll excuse you for confusing pragmatism.

Yours posts tell me things too mate.
Given KB's resources, I do think Sham, or Chris Martin, would do at least as well, if not better, than KB with Parker. But you're right, Kiwi, KB's talent? is that he takes Parker (and Izu) under his wing, houses them, takes care of them, and sets them up with quality sparring in Vegas. That's what he brings to the table.

With Tua, same thing. Except I feel for KB with Tua being so ill-disciplined. He coulda won a title. Tua wouldn't last a month with Sham, and vice-versa. KB is a Big Lights, Big City sort of trainer, who has hair transplants. Sham has a full head of hair, and when Tua started dogging it, Sham would have him climb One Tree Hill and then herd sheep the rest of the day.

If I were Sham, I'd be envious of KB. Trainers want that "once in a lifetime" fighter who can go to the top. He had Tua, and now has Parker. When you are at least as good as the guy in your profession who's getting all the kudo's. Congrats on Sham for not being bitter and twisted. I'd be.
Die, I am envious about Vegas. Love to go there.
Believe it or not I still get training requests, some irish too to be fair. Haven't the inclination now to do more than pass opinions regardless of the reception. Did you know I bought a motorbike and have taken to riding out whenever there's no hint of rain haha
Oh, and to be sure there's no hidden veils, KB is also of irish descent.. lol
Jayus shitz getting real in here...lol
Personally I like the JP/ KB fit but also am worried that he hasn't seemed to have developed a great deal in his last few fights albeit each has given him different challenges.
My biggest thing with JP is that I hope he comes out of this (boxing) with plenty of dosh and his health.
He my whatever ways or means holds a WT so needs to KO Furey in a big way- then do whatever deal through his management or shared management (my pref) that takes him to the UK to smash Bellew at Goodison Park.
From there on who knows - if AJ bts Wlad he is the Undisputed king forget the belts and each must wait their turn to take him on- longer the better for JP I think.
Target Wilder
Jp hasn't looked good due to facing better level opponents in Takam and Ruiz. I love how we are getting real fights now instead of hash up fights like Bergman and Marts. KB has a lot to improve on with JP. Hopefully KB is open to bringing in new trainers with new ideas to help JP grow
