Wilder calls out Joe. Wants a July fight with the idea of unification at end of year against winner of AJ vs Wlad.

Make it hrappen. Cut those slimy Furies out of any payday.

Naki, the Parker estate will dodge Wilder at this juncture, that's not going to happen. Too soon for Jo, Wilder would end his dreams right now. Barry might fall short as a coach as they move on but he's no fool.

Wilder has one weapon. The right hand. Id rate Parkers chances much higher against Wilder than AJ.
Deontay Wilder humiliates Hughie Fury and calls out Joseph Parker for unification bout

American Deontay Wilder's size and power have seen him dominate the WBC rankings.

WBC champion Deontay Wilder has humiliated Hughie Fury and called out Joseph Parker to initiate an immediate unification bout.

Fury pulled out of his May 6 fight with Parker in Auckland for the WBO heavyweight title, citing a back injury.

That has left Parker's handlers scrambling for a last-minute opponent with the WBO quickly sanctioning a voluntary defence against one of their other top 15 fighters.

It's understood Duco Events are making good progress and hope to announce a credible opponent on Wednesday or Thursday.

There's no shortage of candidates putting their hands up and the latest is Wilder who has long spoken of his desire to fight Parker with both the WBC and WBO titles on the line.

He believes that should happen immediately now that Fury has been sidelined. But Wilder first aimed a decent left-hook at the big Brit's injury claim before turning his attention to Parker.

"I'm going to cut straight to the chase ... I've heard about this Hughie Fury bagging out two weeks before a fight. Come on man, I know they have a history of doing stuff, family history at that. Oh yeah, I heard about the injury. They said it was a lack of self confidence and that sounds about right," Wilder said in a video on his Twitter account.

Tyson Fury is never short of a quip, and has thrown out an unlikely challenge to Joseph parker as a replacement for his injured cousin Hughie.

"But anyway, moving on ... Joseph Parker if you are really serious about fighting somebody, if you are really serious about unifying the division, if you are really serious about giving the fans what they want to see, then what other person is available than me?

"I've got the WBC, you've got the WBO, let's make it happen. I'm available right now.

"Forget these other scrubs, that's up in the division coming up. Right now you're talking about another champion versus another champion. Let's make a unification bout and at the end of the year we'll get a mega fight against the winner of Klitschko and Joshua."

Sweet & Simple. All you got to do is say Yass ? @joeboxerparker. The Champ is ready, winner takes all. #Unify2017 ??

There's sense to Wilder's logic but he will come too expensive for Duco to consider for this promotion, a bit like fellow American Dominic Breazeale who confirmed his availability on Monday for a short-notice fight.

Among the nonsense offers came one from Hughie Fury's cousin, troubled former world champion Tyson Fury.

Tyson provided a light moment in a bitter war between the two camps when he tweeted: "@joeboxerparker if u need an opponent I'm not doing much ATM I'll come short notice, #gypsyking #26stone."

Tyson hasn't fought since he beat Wladimir Klitschko in 2015 to open up the division.

He had to vacate his belts last year as he plunged into a drugs and alcohol binge and mental health issues.

Joeboxer will end up fighting the never heard of before Romanian, you can bet your house on it.
Yep it will probably be some 'bum' who will get horribly knocked out. At least that bum is actually willing to fight and clearly will have more guts than Hughie Fury and co.

Right on the money Sham...Team Fury: No back problems, no guts.
No I've never boxed in a ring, what does that have to do with anything?

Msreef, with statements like fighters have no guts please remind me to have complete disregard to your future posts. Boxing is a one on one sport, and the preparation, buildup, time at press conferences plus the time spent in dressing rooms before the fight, and the actual stepping into the fight ring on fight night all denote a man of courage guts and fortitude. Something of which you know nothing about by your own word of admission. Its one thing to note what you perceive as a lie, but not at all to denounce a fighting man of no guts or a coward in other words.

100% ready for 6th May #bringiton #bornready #furyparker #6thmay

Statement Issued after pulling out:
Hughie has been declared medically unfit to box following a medical assessment. He has suffered an injury to his lower back which has been a serious issue for the last 3 weeks that has left him unable to train to his full capacity.

100% ready 9 days ago, now apparently he has been injured for the last 3 weeks?

Rumour is floating around he was laid out cold by his sparring partner, Daniel Dubios. Hughie had to get carried out of the ring.

The old saying is, where's there is smoke, there's fire. The statement that the Fury team has come out with is nothing more than a dirty smokescreen.

Of course, because the only way anyone can have any guts is to be a boxer. Nobody has guts unless they have stepped into the ring. Is that right Sham?

I also cannot have an opinion because I'm not a boxer sham? So in the same breath, nobody can have political opinions unless they have been a member of parliament? Nobody can have religious opinions unless they have been a priest? Get real.

Also, get your facts right, I never said Hughie has 'no guts', I said whoever team Parker brings in has MORE guts than Hughie Fury. My reasoning for this is simple, I don't believe for a second that the injury is genuine. These are 'fighting men', by their own admission, yet they are bailing out of a contractually agreed fight two weeks before fight night.

So I stand by what I said, whoever they bring in has more guts than Hughie.
