It appears more and more to me Diehard as though whenever anyone makes a comment about Joseph Parker you don't agree with you get defensive and personal .

Die wasthe same with David Tua I recall but more reality there..

You've asked the question before, and no one answered.  I think if it's Parker's chance to fight for a title, and KB and Izu weren't in his corner, Team Parker would find a way to make it happen.  Huge risk, and it definitely would put him at a disadvantage, but I think he'd do it.  Hughie has 6 weeks to get someone to come into camp and work out a fight plan with Peter Fury.  Nah, Tyson wouldn't be his cornerman, but I assume there are guys in the UK that could.

Actually Diehard I commented previously with

"I totally agree with you MsReef. The most important fight of your career and you wont have your coach in the corner - it won't happen. Especially as Hughie has only had his father as coach for his entire pro career and most likely amateur as well. Tyson isn't a coach. Put the shoe on the other foot, would Parker go to England to fight for a world title shot without KB, i don't think so. This fight will be dependent on Peter getting a Visa and that "little" mater of a positive drug test. That should at least have been cleared up before he can even fight for a world title. In the end Hughie can still play the waiting game he is only young and will probably get to fight at home."

Do you honestly believe 6 weeks is enough with a new coach - who hasn't even been chosen yet to come down to NZ and challenge for a world title fight ? Team Parker would never go through with it and would be expected to.

I don't agree or disagree on the issue of Hughie coming to NZ without his father.  I just think this is the chance of a lifetime for him, and he should find someone to work in with Team Hughie so that he can fight for the title.  Same with Parker.

Apologies for not realising you commented on the above.  Slipped my mind.  It's no secret that I love Parker as a boxer.  But I also recognise his flaws.

No, 6 weeks is not enough time.  So he can either live with it and get another cornerman, or cancel the fight.
I just want Parker to win his next fight against a top opponent, preferably away from home and convincingly. I think he can do it, he is not quite there yet but eventually will be. Yes he has flaws however all boxers do and they learn to overcome them. I still don't believe this fight will happen, if it does without Peter Fury, Joseph will win but will be knocked again because of it. I would love and much prefer Parker vs Bellew in England which is very winnable for Parker.
I guess it'll depend on the contract that Fury has signed. If he doesn't have an out based on his dad not being allowed in, then the choice is fight or risk being sued for breaching his contract
I imagine this has already been discussed with the Fury camp before the contact was signed. They probably have to pay Duco x amount of $$$ if they pull out.

Lol I'm lookin in a mirror
Die isnt as biased on parker as some other members of this board.

One of our members posted a poll on ESB of parker v hughie then got irate because it was fairly close in votes!!
True that, Sham. I was loyal and passionate to Tua to the bitter end. Same with Parker. Fistic Fury: I agree with your last post. I want Parker to fight a top ranked guy. Hughie would be interesting with his awkward style. Would prefer for Miller to step in if Hughie is a no go. Then Bellew, and then AJ if he keeps winning. BUT, he's gotta do something with his defense to have a chance against AJ. With Hughie and Bellew, it won't matter as he'll be the aggressor.
