Be a cold day in hell before a promoter trusts the Fury's to fight again. Could probably include Tyson Fury also. Look for the WBO to fine him, or to take him out of their top 10, and certainly not their mandatory.

Would love for a decent fighter to call Mr Higgins and step in to fight Parker. A win, and they are the new WBO heavyweight champ!

That's very sad news and as stated, certainly doesn't align with the confident rhetoric out of the Fury camp leading into the event.

I was really looking forward to this fight and saw it as a huge task for Joseph..

I guess the Fury's saw the home lean towards Parker as too high a hurdle..  who knows..?  The injury claim doesn't wash with me this late into the build up.  If there was an injury we would know all the gory details to justify the stand down..  No.  I think the prospect of fighting in NZ conjured up too many unknowns and the Fury's like to have all bases covered.. Damn shame that this call was made at the 11th hour and it certainly adds to the mounting controversy around this family.  

I feel for Joe and the paying public who were in for a great fight.
