Muscles and strength are good, especially for the big boys, joe needs ut so he can cope in the clinch and not get physically bullied.

But i wonder if its coming at the cost of other things during training.

Very A,B,C boxing last night and although the big romanian was cagey, you expect the elite level fighter to create an opening and get him out of there. To me it looked like joe didnt have any ideas other than throw the 1-2 directly at the big guys guard.

And old KB certainly wasnt coming up with much between rounds.

Ive had concerns about parkers training for a while, he looked flat in the body last night, not ripped and ready for battle, ive said for a while hes not a 245lb fighter, he should be 235 lean, ripped, strong and fast. You saw klitschko at 240 last week, joe should be aiming for that kind of physique but a bit lighter as klit is taller

Trying to make him 245 just means carrying lbs of useless weight.
I'm not sure what weights he is doing cause the gym he trains in has only a few machines and free weights. He needs a proper personal weight trainer. He could be so much better. Anyway the fight was shit and Jo didn't perform. I'm ready to give him a pass, even tho his development has hit the wall. Every great champ has had a few off nights against lesser opponents and I hoping this is one for Jo's sake .

The one thing that bothered me more than anything was the attitudes of Joe and KB post fight.

Id have liked to seen joe say "you know what i underperformed, i set myself a higher standard we will redouble our efforts and come back better"

Instead it was 'scuses. And i hate 'scuses.

AJ: "I have a lot to learn, and I'm going to keep working on it. I'll get better." That's the attitude!

I'm not overly keen on the Fury fight now if Joe couldn't get his shots on Cojanu how is he going to get to Fury?

Sham, we need to get you on the couch for 50 minutes, once a week, so you can tell me your life's troubles. Oh, and bring some $$$.

I agree Sham. this game is about winning. Razz didn't want to fight.  end of day people are vaunarable when they throw. raz didn't throw a thing!!

C'mon Jnr Fa..
