I don't think Hughie is a coward.  He IS a liar.  And an idiot for not coming to NZ.  He's either too young at 22, or too stupid to realise that he is ruining his career at such an early age.  He definitely has talent.  And fortunate to be the mandatory.  He's throwing it all away.
Not to mention organising Junior Fa for sparring on Thursday.

That is exactly another reason why this smells off. Markk- Juniors manager received communication from their camp organising Junior for sparring. What changed?

Shady BS.

Not sure how you seem to think this is a legitimate scenario Sham, it just reeks of dirty boxing politicking.
What about the guy ortiz was supposed to fight?

I dont think hes s coward either but I agree hes ruining his career. I just would like to know the real reasons for all of this BS, Hughie has lost a lot of reputation even with the uk fans now, and its going to be hard to get back.

Hughie Lewis Fury Retweeted Team Fury
100% ready for 6th May #bringiton #bornready #furyparker #6thmay

Statement Issued after pulling out:
Hughie has been declared medically unfit to box following a medical assessment. He has suffered an injury to his lower back which has been a serious issue for the last 3 weeks that has left him unable to train to his full capacity.

100% ready 9 days ago, now apparently he has been injured for the last 3 weeks?

Rumour is floating around he was laid out cold by his sparring partner, Daniel Dubios. Hughie had to get carried out of the ring.

The old saying is, where's there is smoke, there's fire. The statement that the Fury team has come out with is nothing more than a dirty smokescreen.

Not more sparring rumors.

Man ive heard so many guys supposedly getting laid flat in sparring lately its unreal

And remember you heard it here 1st hahaha
I guess the problem I have with this is that Hughie could have beaten Parker. Not saying he would, but he's awkward, is bigger, and knows how to fight. With the money and chance to win a title, I don't understand why he was dicking Team Parker around from dot. Too much at stake for Hughie. What he didn't have was power, but according to reports, he has that now. Or had it.

Fair comments die. No disrespect to Jo, except he falls short at top level. I sincerely considered Hughie had the goods to beat him. Now we may never know unless the WBO deem the fight is still valid. IF it happens that the WBO reinstate it then we will know that they weren't faking for some other reason. I would expect a ruling on that in next week or so.
Considering how tight Frank Warren is with the WBO, I reckon the fight will be ordered again.
