It's really hard to recommend a Hughie fight as he's not entertaining. He's gangly and awkward similar to Tyson, although imo he does put his shots together slightly better. The awkwardness, angles, jab and movement are what makes him a skilled fighter, he is very advanced. But really lacks power.
Rudenko was his best performance as I think Rudenko beat browne, so his record is pretty good, he's a legit top 25 fighter but hughie basically schooled him.
Also Die, boxing gossip on YouTube really rates hughie. He also really rates parker (prefers him over AJ) but he's saying hughie is a bad match up for Parker. If you search his videos on hughie he knows his stuff.

Just saw several rounds. Will watch more over the weekend. I really like the way he fights. Lots of fun, and like you say, awkward with angles. He knows how to fight, and seems very comfortable in there. I don't think his jab will bother Parker at all. Parker's issue would be how to figure him out, as it's hard to land combinations on him, and it'll be hard for Parker to establish his jab with the bigger man who moves so much.

BG doesn't prefer Parker over AJ. Other way around.
Has someone got a link to where it says Hughie would be or is a bookies favourite over Parker right now? That's astonishing to me. Hughie could very well beat Parker but Parker HAS to be favourite.
Paddy Power has Hugie at 1.83 and Parker at 2.00
Maybe they're confusing him with Tyson...
Speaking of, where do you all rate Hughie in relation to Tyson Fury? They seem to fight similarly. True? Or am I imagining it?
