I don't see Parker winning this fight easily. He'll have to work for it. Infern0, do you see the fight ending up in Dunedin? I think the $$$ and venue is Duco's bargaining chip.
Don't discount the Wilder fight. It really could happen.

Arum is onboard now - the guy that just greenlit Pacman vs Horn

For me most of the doubt is around wilder really wanting the fight.

If he doesn't, it won't happen.

I guess it depends who his mandatory is
Parker's Promoter: Talks With Haymon For Wilder Bout Went Well
By Edward Chaykovsky

David Higgins, director of Duco Events, who promote WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker (22-0, 18 KOs), says they are holding discussions for fights with both Hughie Fury and WBC champion Deontay Wilder (37-0, 36 KOs).
Wilder is back on February 25th in his home state of Alabama, in a world title defense against Andrzej Wawrzyk (33-1, 19 KOs) of Poland.
Parker captured the vacant WBO world title last month with a close twelve round decision over previously undefeated Andy Ruiz.

Wilder, if all goes well in February, would love to face Parker on a date in April. Parker had been ordered to make a mandatory defense against David Haye, but the Hayemaker accepted a Sky Sports Box Office showdown with Tony Bellew for March 4th at the O2 Arena in London.
"We've read the WBO rules and if they sanction unification it can override a mandatory," Higgins told Sky Sports. "There are some options to look at and we're looking at all of them.
"That's a fight that will happen. It's a matter of when, not if. My initial discussion was with Al Haymon [Wilder's adviser] and Al and I discussed how the lack of unification is hurting the heavyweight division over the years. We shared an identical view about that situation and agreed that unification is good.
"I think we would look at both options and see what Wilder would be prepared to put on the table to go to Vegas or Birmingham [Alabama] and conversely what we could put on the table for Wilder to come here. Then we would talk and work it out."
Fury is expected to become the mandatory challenger - should the WBO rule out Haye. The sanctioning body has not made any official ruling on Haye, but it appears that fighting Fury would satisfy the mandatory obligation. Based on the current discussions with Fury's team, that defense has a good chance at heading to a purse bid.
"I think the purse bid looks the most likely scenario if the mandatory is indeed the case," said Higgins. "That's a ruling for the WBO, so I will be engaging with the WBO in the coming days and weeks to seek clarification on that process," Higgins said.
Didn't bob arum say just a couple of weeks ago that unifications are not financially viable.

I see this as Higgins trying to generate some headlines, little more.
There is no reason why a unification can't be made, unless Wilder's team doesn't want it. Parker has said the whole way through he wants all the belts, and I'm sure this hasn't changed.

Headlines? Maybe, but Duco is using one fight against another to lure Fury to NZ.

Can't watch that video yet as I'm at work but team parker really need to avoid fighting a guy like hughie on a frank warren card.
Good vid NakiFan.

Hughie will be far too slick for Joseph..  as the young chap says.. skills pay the bills..

Hughie has impressive skills for a big man and Joseph will never out box him..

Joseph's only chance is to hurt Fury and take him out whether the fight is in NZ, the UK or on the moon.
