Not obvious to me. He threw enough combos at Ruiz to do damage. Same with Takam. He fights on the back foot by stupidity. He shouldn't have allowed Ruiz to back him up, and if he tried Ruiz should have paid for it by coming forward. Instead, Parker slowly backed into the ropes until he was trapped, then tried to move away. He needed to circle while throwing jabs, like early Ali.

When he fights on the front foot and the game plan is to chop down taller opponents ala Dimitrenko he has power
I thought that was obvious

Dimitrenko has a weak chin, poor defence and no head movement, a rubbish jab and no power to keep opponents off him. He's also immobile. He hit the canvas against Percovic and Eddie chambers who both can't knock the skin off a rice pudding ffs.

Parker walked through him which any top heavyweight should easily do. Dimitrenko wins fights against really poor fighters just by using his size but anyone with decent skills and more than minimal power should easily get him out of there.

I don't know why people keep touting that as proof parkrr is going to crush the elite super heavyweights. Dimitrenko is so far below klitschko wilder and aj that you just can't compare.
Yeah, but he banged Meehan and Tupou pretty good, and they don't go down so easily. I think the power is there, although I don't think he's filled out yet. Why his chest looks like a bird is beyond me. No, you don't hit with your chest, but it contributes greatly to your overall strength.
Yeah I don't know what the deal is with his chest. His traps and arms are very well developed but his chest is badly lagging. It may just be genetic.
My wife makes up for my small chest. Wink
Flyes, Flyes, and more flys, and some bench press thrown in. Sounds like you need some help from your wife NakiFan. Maybe a Christmas present. A NEW WEIGHT SET.

chest means nothing in boxing. its all about the back. essentially the back is the breaking system of the body. where the stronger the back the faster you can go into the corner.  therefore the back allow you to punch harder as it knows it can save you from stuffing  all your muscles and ligament when you punch.
also essentially the fascia of your lats connect to your gluts which form all power combined with range of your touristic spine to create force through your fist. so pushing into the ground (sitting down on punches) which is mainly activated through your gluts then transfer the power to lats. the coating of your late the fascia is critical for the coil of punches. the range then allow you to accelerate for longer to create power. this is essentially the training junior is doing with tom walsh, jack gill and val adams. world leading stuff. when you watch a AJ training video he is essentially doing this at a basic level. he is the most scientific boxer for a force production point of view in my opinion behind junior. junior is just starting this style of training but the guys are literally inventing/making up the stuff. both have PH'd and in another year you will see junior fa as a freak power wise IMO.
Junior definitely looks stronger each outing.
Thankfully it's not all about the legs or Wilder would be screwed
