Typical rubbish reporting by a sports writer with no real knowledge of the sport.

Anyone who watches hughie fury fight knows he is a danger. For a guy who is 2 years younger than JP his skill set and composure is impressive.

His trainer/dad Peter fury is one of the best tactical coaches there is, and his sparring partner is the best heavyweight in the world. Plus he is a year older than the kassi fight at 22, and ggetting closer to reaching his prime.

You best belive you would see a better hughie fury than ever before against parker, with a gameplan to exploit all the chinks Barry hasn't ironed out.

I see it as a well matched fight and it'll be a very impressive win if Joe pulls it off.

If this fight gets signed,

Have to agree with everything you say (this time).
That's the beauty of this site.
We all have our opinions, and I often disagree with yours, but it's great to talk about this stuff.

Probably a bit early, but I'd like to wish Mr and Mrs Die a great Christmas (I'm heading off in a Campervan, so might be off-grid)
Thanks gothe, from me and Mrs Die. And a great Christmas to you too. Have a safe trip and enjoy the hell out of your holiday.

Yes, Hughie, with his unique fighting style, will not be an easy fight for Parker, who will probably be his next opponent.

Makes sense.

Although it's a mismatch, Haye is fighting a world champion in his next fight. I don't think he should drop spots.

That said I'm not really sure haye was ranked so high to begin with.
Don't understand. So Haye can fight Bellew and still keep his mandatory spot? And Parker can fight whoever he wants next since he'll be fighting his mandatory (Haye) in the summer? Guess Hughie misses out as the mandatory.
Who can Joe choose as a vountary meanwhile- do they also have to be on this list?

CHAMPION - JOSEPH PARKER NZ

1 David Haye UK
2 Hughie Fury (Int-Cont) UK
3 Wladimir Klitschko UKR
4 Jarrell Miller (NABO) USA
5 Andy Ruiz USA
6 David Price UK
7 Tom Schwarz (WBO Youth) GER
8 Edmund Gerber KAZ
9 Kubrat Pulev BA
10 Andrey Fedosov USA
11 Izuagbe Ugonoh NIG
12 Christian Hammer (WBO Europe) GER
13 Michael Wallisch GER
14 Andrzej Wawrzyk POL
15 Andriy Rudenko UKR
Price still in the picture to build some UK intrigue ahead of Haye...?
If he fights price that's a joke. Of that list, Hughie, Miller or Pulev.

Price won't build any "uk intreague" it'd be like when wilder blasted out Harrison, nobody cared.

If they want uk intreague go for dillian whyte and ask the wbo for permission

Price hasn't even fought in the uk for a couple of years.

Not price

Please
Agreed Whyte would sell a hell of a lot better. I'd like to see that fight... But do the WBO rules allow that? (I know WBC requires voluntaries to be top 15, but not aware of WBO rules).

Price or Miller according to Arum....
