I actually heard takam was on stilts

that's just a rumour though

This should settle the troll...

Takam wearing thick socks...
Sneakers make like a 1" height advantage, let's say 2" to be generous. Point is hughie is a lot taller
And Fury is 2 inches taller than Parker. 6ft4 vs 6ft6. So what was the point?
Height and reach advantage doesn't equal nz home advantage but doesn't give Parker ALL the advantages.

Hughie Fury: Joseph Parker Fight is "Very Close" To Being Made
By Edward Chaykovsky

Heavyweight contender Hughie Fury is inching closer to a deal for his mandatory world title shot against WBO champion Joseph Parker.
22-year-old Fury, the cousin of former WBA, IBO, WBO and IBF champion Tyson Fury - is very confident of bring back the world titles to his family.
Tyson vacated the titles last year after being plagued with mental health issues and problems with substance abuse.

The fight between Fury and Parker is being negotiated, and there is little time remaining to reach a deal with the purse bid taking place on February 1. Parker's team is motivated to win the purse bid, if it comes to that, and bring Fury to New Zealand.
"I'm in the mandatory position now with the WBO and Joseph Parker is my target," Fury told Sky Sports. "The fight is now very close to being made. It now looks like it's going to happen and hopefully we can get it confirmed in the next few days.
"Don't get me wrong Joseph Parker is a good fighter but I've had the experience over the years both in fights and in sparring and I am now ready for these types of fights. I've been in the right environment from a young age and I've been sparring with professionals since I was 15. I've had that experience with some of the best fighters out there. That's all in the bank and I'm going to make sure I take that title home with me."
Hughie won a gold medal in an England vest at the Youth World Championships in 2012, but father and trainer Peter Fury, says the best is yet to come from his son.
Father and head trainer Peter Fury is expected a very tough for his son.
"This is a majorly exciting time for Hughie," Peter said. "I don't see why this fight won't happen, but nothing is done until it's done and anything can happen, but we're confident it will get over the line. It will be a very difficult fight because Joseph Parker is a very good heavyweight. He's a world champion and all world champions take a lot of beating.
"He's young, he's hungry, he's got fast hands and he can punch. He ticks all the boxes and he deserves to be where he is. But Hughie is an exceptional talent and he's still only 22 years of age. He was very good as an amateur he's had a good learning curve. People have not really seen the best of Hughie Fury and I believe this is his time. It's going to be a very interesting fight but he has every chance of lifting that world title."

Barry talks about Parker’s weight gain
By Ray Wheatley — World of Boxing

WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker admitted that he has put on several pounds since defeating Andy Ruiz in Auckland New Zealand on December 10 but Kevin Barry, who is the trainer of Parker, said he will slap the (weight) off his face. Barry also mentioned that Parker will be much improved heavyweight boxer now he has become world champion and he expects his charge to be fighting in a unification bout in 2017 if Joseph keeps winning.

“When fighters say they are 5kg (11pounds) over, double it,” Barry told Sunday sport on RadioLive.

“When I heard him say five, I thought that was a little concerning because now he is 10kg (22 pounds) over.”

“I’m going to slap it off his face,” he laughed.

“Joe is a very good trainer, he is really looking forward to coming back into camp. We have pencilled in a camp for early April. We have got everything in place for Joe to have a perfect training camp.”

“When guys first wear the belt they automatically become a 10 percent better fighter, and I am confident that we will see a more purposeful, a more action-packed fighter when he steps into the rings next, and I’m excited about that.”

“Fighting at home gives us a great advantage. He has a great fan base and a tremendous amount of support from the New Zealand public and Joe feels very comfortable fighting at home, so as long as we can do that we should try and keep him there.”

“The good thing for us is fighting for a mandatory now, if we get the job done and get the right result it will give Joe a good nine months and possibly two opponents where we choose the opponents, and that could take us into a major heavyweight fight, or we could take a couple of fights with styles we like from within the top fifteen.”

“I think that there is every chance this year if we keep winning that sometime in 2017 we will be fighting a unification bout.”

The purse bid for Joseph Parker’s

mandatory defense against Hughie Fury will be held Thursday at the WBO Head Office in San Juan Puerto Rico
WBO champ Parker motivated to KO H Fury
By Ray Wheatley – World of Boxing

WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker (22-0, 18 KOs) will be prepared to defend the world title in England against mandatory contender WBO #2 Hughie Fury (20-0, 10 KOs) ahead of the purse bid to be held at the WBO Head Office in San Juan Puerto Rico on February 1st. Parker says if the fight is in England, it would be perfect preparation for a unification bout against IBF champion Anthony Joshua. He also pointed out that Fury has never headlined a promotion or been in a pay-per-view fight and if the fight is in England, he’ll be motivated to KO Hughie.”This could be the perfect lead-up to those bigger fights. Getting used to it, testing it out. Looking for a place over there, where we could stay and get comfortable with.” Parker told Sky Sports.

“He’s the mandatory, but he’s never headlined his own card. He’s never fought on PPV, so I’m not quite sure. It’s a world title, so he thinks he deserves a lot more money than I think he does deserve, but it’s up to them what they come up with…I don’t care where the fight is. Most of my fights have been in New Zealand, but people forget I’ve fought in America twice, I’ve fought in Germany, fought in Samoa, so it doesn’t matter where the fight is. I’ll be comfortable fighting anywhere.

Over here in New Zealand, I have everyone supporting me, but I guess if I train hard, I’m comfortable wherever it is. It will probably give me more motivation to knock him out.”

Parker’s co-promoter David Higgins of Duco Events and Fury’s promoter Frank Warren are expected to be in Puerto Rico for the purse bid.
