It is. I wonder if Nik works out a deal with the home promoter on a percentage basis? The home fighter pays all expenses, including the opponent.

Wowzers! In the current Me2 environment I think a comment like that can lead to serious jail time, be careful!
I have no idea how they got the fight sanctioned for a WBO world title but it will be a competitive fight and is creating interest in boxing so I'm good with it. If female boxing becomes bigger then boxing as a sport becomes bigger. I've been to some shows in NZ where the skill level of female fights hasn't been great but they have definitely been entertaining.
If you look at the skill level involved in womens rugby now as opposed to 15 years ago it's on another level so maybe womens boxing in the country can take a similar path

I used to pop out and have a cigarette when a women's bout came on but now I don't smoke so not sure what I'd do, I don't like exhibitions or corporate boxing either. I'm going off heavyweight boxing too :-)

Unless you win an Olympic or world championship medal or are a 'celeb' every boxer in Britain starts off having to sell bundles of tickets to pay for the opponent and his expenses. One of my friends didnt earn any money in his first 10 fights.

Comedians also have to sell tickets on street corners to be allowed to do stand up.
Interesting to see Mose at light heavy as that is apparently where his future lies.
Expecting to see Andrei win but Chase will give him a fight for sure.
If Light can beat Bam Bam that is massive but I have no idea how that one will end up.
Now Gunnar has pulled out of Cameron's card it will be interesting to see Andrei fights that night. Card looking a little onesided so he needs a decent opponent. Anyone heard anything? It's only two weeks away
