Who wins- Why, how and when?

Joseph Parker- Just dispatched Costa Jnr in a spectacular highlight reel one punch KO is now 12 and 0 and retains his WBO Oriental Title. Scalps on his winning record include Brian Minto, Frans Botha, Sherman Williams and Marcelo Nascimento.

Junior Fa- Fought a messy fight against Hunter Sam to come out victorious by UD. Previous fight Junior won the NZPBA HW title in a MD against Daniel Tai. No other notable scalps.

Apples and oranges in terms of competition. Parker was on an upward spiral to get a title shot. Fa is looking for some credibility outside of Australasia.

Right now I think Nascimento would be a struggle for Fa.

Well considering Nascimento was unlucky not to get the decision against Mariuscz Wach, I would say that Nascimento would probably be favoured over Fa at this stage.

Hughie to have a tune up?

Makes sense. I'd do it if I were Hughie.

It's hard to believe anything from their camp now. I'll believe he's fighting when I see it.

So how does the mandatory get to fight whoever he wants, but Parker can't fight anyone until Hughie?

Surely if Fury doesn't want Parker next then Parker can fight Bellew or Whyte

Hughie's irish

I guess the champ is limited to who they can fight, but the mandatory isn't?

Parker was granted a voluntary against Cojanu, probably doesn't want/need a fight just now it's June now 8 weeks till September.
