I've always been a big supporter of what Duco has done for JP but this sort of nonsense is happening more and more often. Joseph is not the arrogant guy they make him out to be, this does nothing to sell a fight and just makes them look desperate and rude.

I didn't think Browne had a chance and even though it's only a 'regular' title, it's the best achievement by an Aussie or Kiwi heavyweight ever, have some respect, say congratulations and that you'd like to challenge him soon. Adding to the nonsense is that Lucas and Joseph are on very different paths with different organisations so embarrassing themselves and JP was a complete waste of time anyway.

Not a good look for JP and maybe the right time he moves on is near. Someone mentioned him joining TMT in Vegas, not a bad shout

This is a poor look but this is what promoters do I guess.

I knew it wouldn't be long before this, the media are doing Joe a disservice, he's a respectful man, they are making him seem an arrogant ass

NZ media or duco, in particular lonergan? a lot of what is said is coming from their camp.

this does make him look arrogant and desperate.

NZ Media and Duco are going to pay this up all day long... reality is, JP is a hell of a nice guy and has given Lucas Browne the utmost respect and congrats on winning his title.

There is no animosity between Browne and Parker, they both do their talking in the ring. and will do if they ever meet.

And for the record... Kevin Barry doesn't want JP to be an angry beast, they are happy for him to play the gentlemen card... and it works well for him!!

Beast mode in the ring, gentlemen outside it.

A little off topic. David Haye's petition to the PM David Cameron - Give Muhammad Ali an Honorary British Knighthood now.
