Is Parker still in NZ? The longer things remain this quiet the more it starts to smell fishy...
Is the new Higgins arm of Duco struggling to pay the bills in the states given the last fight cost it big money?
Surely this quiet time combined with Parker's last fight must be hurting his brand? The casuals will be forgetting him already with the Lions tests coming up and the Americas Cup in full swing.
If he was injured or was just in dire need of some time at home wouldn't they be telling us so. Something is not right. If he was fighting in the UK for the first time (only other Northern Hemisphere fight was Nascimento in April 2014) you would think he would be there a month before. So if the 26th of September is the date he would want to be there by September 1 at the latest. You would think Parker would want eight weeks with Barry in the states because besides his camp his fitness and weight will have gone slightly south when in NZ. So take out a few days travel back to the states and the few days travel to the UK, presuming their is no media and hyping that needs to be done in NZ on the way, he needs to be on the way to the UK in late August and he needs to be on a plane to the states within the next three or four days.
To put it simply, if he's still in NZ (which I don't know for sure) and he's not gone in the next couple of days I'm saying September fight ain't happening.
