Apologies its in Polish, but use a decent translator and should be readable Smile

Thanks for the link.  I was able to use the translater.  Izu said it's a career change, so not good.  He's one of my favourite fighters.  Can you keep us informed, jonot?

Yep if I hear anything I will let you know! I actually have him as one of my friends on Facebook but he doesn't show online much.

Agreed he is one of my favourite fighters also and had so much potential which we may unfortunately not get to see.

He needs to leave duco asap. Wouldn't have suprised me if he was lined up to take on Junior Fa's opponent for Dec 10, as markk was saying on here a month or so ago that there was originally no room for Junior Fa on the card.

interesting theory and you may be right there. if this is izu's opponent then its a big step for junior.

Who knows? I know Stu was lining him up with a couple of fighters a month ago and felt one of them would come thru for Dec. 10th. To train all that time with Parker and KB and then not fight? But to finish the training and sparring with Parker? For my money, spending time and money on Izu's opponents is time well spent, as I see him as a future belt holder.

2017 was to be his year? Did he not trust Duco? Has he gone back to kick boxing? Who knows? Very weird.

Duco has been saying for ages that they will step up the level of competition for Izu, and it hasn't been happening.
The writing has been on the wall for ages, it must be hard being in JPs shadow, being promised better opponents and being let down again and again.

I just hope Izu stays with KB and JP, if the relationship with them has soured as well it'll be pretty sad.

I hope if Izu leaves more effort would be shown by Duco to help support NZ fighters like Junior.

Izu won't sell ppvs to the casuals for $50 a pop

Duco: "who cares about him then"

For all we know...Izu may be lined up for a bigger bout later in Dec or January? Speculation is OK, but I'm sure things wouldn't have broken down so quickly after the last fight.
