What we want us izu vs a 400th ranked belarussian

400th ranked belarussian with a great record - fixed. This is the most important thing for Duco.

I think this guy could be good for Izu

Is the IBF title not on the line for this fight?

No, WBO my friend.

I think Mr Monkey was trying to point out even though it's a "stay busy fight", that it's still a shot at the IBF world title. So comparing it between Parker vs Ruiz for the WBO and AJ vs Molina is a fair call. They after all are both title fights.

I'd like to see Izu fight a Jarrell Miller, Franklin Lawrence, Bryant Jennings type of fighter.  A solid journeyman or contender, preferably in the top 10.  Even Duhaupas looks ok.

Duhaupas or Jennings would be a fantastic fight for Izu, heck it would be a great fight even for Parker.
I think we will see him against a tomato can though if Duco make it happen in NZ.

I think so too. When they say that 2017 will be Izu's year, I think we can count out a competitive fight in December. Yep, they would be great fights for Parker too. I really don't see much in it between Izu and Parker except quality of opposition.

I would definitely pick Parker to beat Izu if they fought. I haven't seen anything world class in Izu, and worry about his chin.

Never seen his chin tested. But I think Izu has better defense than Parker. But like I said earlier, I need to see Izu in against better comp. In some ways, Stu would have a better selection of opponent if it were moved to the US.

Yes I was haha.

Izu's last opponent was a small step in the right direction, hopefully they can find someone slightly higher than Gregory Tony.
