Jo's amateur career was less smarter than AJs so we can't rest on that too much. I question how JP would have fared with Whyte but at the same time I feel AJ would have smacked Takam out of there in short order. I worry about Jo's health getting into a title fight long before he's ready.

If Hearn pushes back the fight into early 2017, Parker would probably have another 3 fights under his belt by then...so when would he be ready?

Well, if he gets beaten, about another 3 years.....

Yes, Sham, Parker had an uninspiring amateur career. But I was talking about AJ's amateur career, and you wisely changed it to Parker's. Can't say how AJ would have handled Takam, as he refuses to fight someone at that level. Now, he fights Stiverne in November, I'd say Takam and Stiverne were on the same level.
Parker could get beaten. No doubt. As could AJ if he steps it up.

Yep die, about the same as Parker may or may not have handled Whyte. AJ be a big step up for Jo anytime soon I be thinking. If it happens, it'll have our attention hahaha

I do question whether or not AJ will actually take the Stiverne / Pulev fight, either fight is dangerous for AJ. Good on them if they do though. Right now Parker is more ready for a title fight, than AJ is ready for a title defense with him. AJ has fought nobody proven at top level. At least Parker has fought Takam.
