Joseph Parker
The whole arena went quiet. They knew Joe was getting beat. A draw was the very least Takam deserved

Fly do you have your beer goggles on?? Maybe spec savers would be good idea?

It was ugly as hell, showed plenty of flaws, but a win is a win and Takam getting the win would be a bad decision, a draw although more fair would still be dubious.

I had it 115-113, Parker has arrived. I was so impressed with him tonight. Takam was hard as and didn't stop coming forward, just got beaten to the punch too often. It was worrieng how he punched himself out in the eighth(his best round), Joshua would have knocked him out then. But wow, like I said Parker has arrived. I'm not sure Eddie Hearn will go near him now, Parkers done himself no favours being so quick with that double jab. I actually think little old NZ has a contender...

More questions than answers raised in this performance, although Parker's chin and second windature need praising...
Really, though, a naive performance. Parker was never going to hurt Takam so why continue to throw those energy zapping flurries which were doing very little. They looked good for the eye but I'm not sure whether it's Barry's instructions or what, but Parker just couldn't adapt in there. Why not tie Takam up every now and then when being bombarded - it's what the bigger guy does. Instead he tried to block the punches with flailing arms or just cop it on the chin. Also why not move the head and incorporate some sort of defense with the brilliant offense? Just looked so stiff and high standing. Maybe tone down the Anaerobic flurries and allot more energy to movement - especially against a guy with stamina and a chin like Takam. Odd performance and needs some fresh new ideas in the camp - maybe even a new coach.

Justapakeha you gotta admit he toughed it out against a good lad. And deserved the win, it ticked all the boxes for me.

Yeah not his best tactical performance but obviously will be better for it. He just leveled up tonight. Just iron out the creases now. new coach!

Yeah we all knew this fight was going to expose areas but KB was the first to admit after the fight that they have alot of work to do...the kid is only 24. Like Craig as a hardcore fan I'm quite satisfied with his performance too...We have to give Takam credit, he's a relentless beast that keeps coming and in his prime...Takam is no joke.
