Just for a comparrison, when Tyson Fury was the age Hughie is now, he lost to John Mcdermott, a british level domestic journeyman (mcdermott got robbed badly) and everyone was saying he was a complete joke who would never amount to anything.

Fred Kassi is at least a couple of levels above John Mcdermott and Hughie dealt with him easily.

Hughie had problems with iron levels in the blood a little while back and was very very sick for quite a few months, and only came right at the end of last year, but he had lost 20lbs of muscle mass in those times, add in the fact that he's only 21 and hasn't filled out yet and i think all things considered he's shaping up very well.

Peter Fury has said that Hughie is not ready for the elite yet as he's too young and not fully developed as an adult man yet, but he's putting him into difficult fights against spoilers and awkward, annoying styles to go rounds and deal with frustration in the ring, he could be putting him in with glass jawed old names who have no ambition, like most prospect, but hughie is being given a proper, old school apprenticeship and it will stand him in good stead. Kassi gave breazele and Arreola fits, that's a dangerous fighter to put a kid in with.

I'd favour Kassi over anyone on Parkers resume, btw.

Gotta disagree with you there inferno, have you seen the first Fury/McDermott fight? Or the Danny Williams/McDermott fight where Big bad John was robbed again. That guy who fought Hughie Fury last night was at least a couple of levels below Big bad John McDermott.

Mcdermott is somewhat underrated fighter, my favorite moment of his was when he exposed olubamiwo. However Kassi would be too good technically for him, just my opinion

Lol thank god it only went for 8. Chambers didn't seem to want to punch back for most of it.
