I can see why Kabayel people don't want the JP fight- both guys are better suited outboxing big slow guys who rely on power.
Them fighting has slow chess match written all over it -nothing to excite the fans or Saudi finances

I see it differently. Kabayel is aggressive and comes forward and can counter big men well. For that reason, I see Kabayel tailor made for JP and that's why they don't want the fight. So I don't see it as a chess match as much as Kabayel going at JP and JP doing damage with his speed and picking him apart. Great match-up for JP. Bad for Kabayel, which is why JP wants him.
I honestly don't know who JP does better boxing. Big slow guys with power or smaller quick guys, like Sanchez. Where would AJ fit in with this scenario? Big, small, power, speed? JP is a mystery to me, but I think he'd do well with Kabayel, and it would be exciting. Come on Turki, make it happen along with ZZ/Bakole on the Dec. undercard.

I don't think JP has EVER trained like this before. Great core work, especially his lower back.

Nothing official in this but its looking likely if ZZ v Bakole not happening and JP has no opponent ZZ would def want this fight to try reclaim his WBO No1

I know the article is recent, but ZZ has been saying that JP is the top of the list for awhile now without making the fight happen. Maybe he entertained fighting Bakole and then changed his mind. He'd make a lot more money, and get the heavyweight bodies attention if he fought Bakole. But I think he chose the easier fight if he chooses JP. I hope, if they fight that JP uses his increased strength and weight to KO him.
