Good analysis. AJ is a mystery to me. I don't know how good, or mediocre he is now. And he's a better scalp than DDD. But, if DDD wins, I think JP has a better chance against him than AJ. Could be that I'm thinking of the AJ of old. Either way, we'll see what AJ has against DDD. Either way, I hope JP faces the winner.

The key to know how AJ has progressed or recessed is when DDD lands on him and puts him under pressure

I see Joshua stopping Dubois.

Well, Usyk boxes better than AJ, and DDD handled that. Let's see if AJ can handle DDD's power.  Yeah, I see AJ stopping DDD too.

There's no doubt Usyk boxes better than Joshua. He proved it twice. Dubois didn't handle Usyk's boxing, he was outboxed in almost every round (arguably every round) & stopped by a jab. It will be interesting to see if Joshua can take a shot from Dubois but my question is will he be able to land cleanly enough before Joshua lands his own shots.

At the end of the day, it's a question of whether AJ still has it, like in his prime years. If he does, down goes DDD. If not, down goes AJ. Bart's assertion that AJ has fought easy opponents could be a clue, cause DDD will bring it.

Bart started his assertion after the Usyk fights for Joshua with Franklin, Helenius, Wallin & Ngannou & he's right that they were confidence builders. In that same time Dubios has fought Usyk, Miller & Hrgovic. There's not a lot in it in opposition considering he was completely outboxed by Usyk, Miller was unbeaten but hugely overweight & of the PEDs & although Hrgovic was also unbeaten & held a questionable decision over Zhang, he came in over-confident & under prepared. Credit to Dubios for withstanding the early onslaught but there's no avoiding that he was catching heavy leather cleanly, from a guy mainly throwing one shot at a time.

Joshua hasn't fought the same since the Ruiz fight. With these confidence fights & even the experiences with Usyk I think it's made him a better boxer. Personally I think Joshua can take Dubios' shots better than Dubios can take his. We'll find out soon enough.

Yeah Im really waiting to see what version of AJ we see rather than DDD who def has a punchers chance in any fight but to me isn't a complete enough package to be a genuine title holder.
It would be great for boxing if a motivated AJ comes in and blasts DDD away within 3-4 making a huge statement but we could see an over cautious tactical display...

I just don't know what to make of AJ. I would be taking odds on this one, with DDD probably being the underdog. I'm hoping DDD connects with a "legit" shot, the one he put on Usyk's belly. DDD needs to be competitive in most of the rounds until he connects on AJ. Stay in the fight. If AJ starts to dominate with his superior boxing skills, it's all over.

Bart, haven't seen any more mention on JP fighting Kabayel. Any news?
