Here's a strange one, I don't know if it actually took place last night. http://boxrec.com/en/event/784065/2329874

Unbeaten WBA #5 heavyweight and 2016 Olympic silver medalist “The Juggernaut” Joe Joyce (8-0, 8 KOs) scored a sixth round TKO over former WBC world champion Bermane “B. Ware” Stiverne (25-4-1, 21 KOs). Both fighters were willing to trade in round one. Joyce rocked Stiverne in round two and dropped Stiverne in round three. It was pretty much one-way traffic after that. Referee Howard Foster intervened at 2:20.

Howard Foster puts Bermane Stiverne out of his misery with 40 seconds to go in round 6.
He was fat, slow and shot but he was able to land some counters on Joe Joyce early. Good learning fight for Joyce but as soon as he steps up he gets stopped in my humble opinion. Was a good fight to watch while it lasted but wasn't high quality. Would love to see Parker v Joyce

Joyce just said he is close to the level of the top three. I don't see that myself

He looks too slow for JP but maybe looks are deceiving..
he can hit as ponderous as he looks he lands
Stiverne is a punchbag now

I'm guessing it could be a possible warm up fight for him before taking on a prospect next?

Joyce takes aim at WBA title

Undefeated WBA #5 heavyweight Joe Joyce (8-0, 8 KOs) is planning on a world title shot after keeping his knockout record intact with a sixth-round TKO of former heavyweight world champion Bermane Stiverne. “Big things are coming,” Joyce said afterward. “My next one will be for the WBA Regular (title) and I’ll be back in the gym soon. I need to have a couple more fights like this and then I’ll be ready for the big champions.”

Yeah, very weird. A bit long on the tooth at 37, but 19-0 with 19KO's. And fighting in Melbourne???
