Heavyweight Division
Lewis is a true ATG, (BTW bowes trainer admitted that he blocked the lewis fight as he didn't think bowe had the maturity to beat Lewis)

But he has always had this complex about his position historically. I think it came from Bruno getting way more of a "push" than him. But I distinctly remember him being very negative on David Haye when he was just about to go up to heavyweight.

Basically Lewis is cool with you UNLESS he percieves any threat to his position as #1 uk heavyweight. If he senses ANY threat to that he starts trashing you.

Sad but if you know Lewis he's always been insecure.

I can remember a time when Lewis himself didn't even consider himself to be British, in fact at the start of his pro career, it was only the fact that he was born in England allowed him to sign a lucrative contract and as they say, the rest is history. He didn't lose his Canadian accent for years.

Yes I remember him saying something like "im WORLD champion, I represent the whole world not just a country" and stuff like that.

Bit of a mercenary really, but figured out he could get the most $$$ repping the uk

Jennings back in the spotlight

Former heavyweight title challenger Bryant “ByBy” Jennings (23-2, 13 KOs) will face Alexander “Sascha” Dimitrenko (41-3, 26 KOs) on Saturday at the Ocean Resort Casino’s Ovation Hall in Atlantic City in the 12-round main event.
Jennings

On fighting Dimitrenko: “I’m expecting him to come out better than he did in his previous fights. I expect him to have the will to win, wanting to establish his name and his legacy.”
On being the ESPN headliner: “I try not to look at all that. I’m just glad that I’ve been fighting consistently and to still be ‘alive’ in this boxing game. All of those other things are great, absolutely wonderful. I’m just grateful for the opportunity, grateful for the consistent fighting schedule. I’m just looking to win and climb the heavyweight ladder. I let everything fall into place once the results come in.”
