Agree.  Impressive name for Dubois to get on his resume at 20 years old.  Johnson will hopefully show him something Dubois' not had to deal with before.  Its a good step up compared to what he's been fighting.

It'll be interesting to see how far Dubois can go.

Lewis was a brilliant boxer, one of my all time favourites. But what a croc of shit! Why is emphasis on AJ having to go to America? AJ has most of the belts, boxing is booming in Britain (its 2nd to UFC in the states) especially heavyweight boxing. Plus Deontay Wilder never leaves America, despite there being relatively few top American heavyweights. Where and how would 50 million come from? That insinuates that Wilder would get the same. Like I said, what a croc...

Jarrell Miller on Adamek: Bring Ambulance, It Will Be Early Night!

Heavyweight contender Jarrell Miller (21-0-1, 18 KOs) is planning to do a lot of damage on October 6th in Chicago, when he faces former two-division world champion Tomasz Adamek (53-5-2, 31 KOs).

The contest will be streamed on DAZN as part of Eddie Hearn's new multi-year contender deal with Perform Group.

Adamek, 41-years-old, has won three fights in a row since suffering a knockout loss to Eric Molina in April of 2016. In that fight, Adamek was way up on the scorecards, when a single punch put him down and out in the tenth round.

Miller was surprised that Adamek accepted the fight without any kind of hesitation.

With big fights looming overheard, including a potential title shot at Anthony Joshua, Miller wants to make a statement by stopping Adamek in the first half of the fight.

"Adamek made me kind of hungry when he called me a boy. He is a legend but when you fight a young stud like me, sometimes parents get their butt whipped. This young man is going to take it to pops. The Heavyweight division in booming right now," Miller said.

"Adamek stepped up in the blink of an eye to take this fight and I take my hat off to him but bring the ambulance because it’s gunna be an early night. I’m not going to spend an extra round in that ring. AJ might be the best in England but he isn’t the best in America and that’s the way I see it. Hard work, dedication, cheeseburgers, let’s get it.”

Adamek, a longtime veteran in the division, is now in a do or die situation where another loss will certainly push him into retirement.

"13 years ago was my first fight and I’m ready to go again on October 6 and October 6 is my day. We start our training camp on Monday. I want to say good luck to my opponent Jarrell Miller, I respect him, he is a good boy, a young boy. I am older and smarter, we will see who is better on October 6,” Adamek said.

I agree with him about Bowe bottling it though, who publicly throws his belt into a bin rather than fight his number one contender????

AJ won't fight Wilder for $46 million???  Who said, "if he won't fight him for $46 million, he doesn't want to fight him?"
