Exactly. He was very stupid in that Brazeale fight where he eventually punched himself out. He would have cruised to victory if he paced himself instead of trying to find the knockout.

Oh, and he won't be facing Wach, they'll just be fighting on the same card.

Thanks, I wondered about that. The poster made it seem like they were fighting each other. Izu almost had a fight with him two years ago before it broke down over promoters and $$$. Who is Izu fighting? It's been a long time between drinks...

On May 25, at the PGE National Stadium, Izuagbe Ugonoh (17-1, 14 KO) will fight another professional fight. During the same gala, another boxer from the Polish top heavyweight leader Mariusz Wach (33-3, 18 KO) also kills. It turns out that there was a proposal for Ugonoh and Wach to face a direct duel during the gala in Warsaw.

- I took care of this topic, because I do not want to box with any Polish boxer yet. I do not rule out that this match will come in the future, but with this particular performance I did not want to fight any Pole - says Ugonoh.

- I do not confirm or deny that our fight will come in the future. The fans will be happy to see it, so let's see what the future will bring - comments Wach.

The names of the rivals that Ugonoh and Wach will face during the gala at the National will be officially confirmed in the coming weeks. The Warsaw fighting stadium also includes Ewa Piątkowska, Rafał Jackiewicz and Robert Talarek.

Is Kevin Barry still Izus coach?

I think KB is. Not swearing.

Don't understand Izu not wanting to face a fellow Pole in Wach. Was willing to 2 years ago. Seems to me Wach is old news, and he needs to fight Pole Kownacki.

No KB does not coach Izu anymore.

Izu was still with KB in Sept.

Are you sure he has split??

I call Izu AJ lite. Would be a perfect sparring partner for Joe. Does everything AJ does, just not as well. Has a longer reach than AJ.

Saw Izu with Joe and KB over the Christmas holidays in the ring, but the shot may have been taken before the split, if they split. I'll ask around...
