Joseph Parker
This is a world title fight between a brit and a kiwi. It's not a fight between two brits, or two americans.
If it's against the contract, Parker should threaten to pull out. This sort of nonsense shouldn't be tolerated at all.

Just had a quick google of Terry O'Connor and bugger me this guy has made come controversial decisions, both as a referee and a judge. I cant see how this fight can be fair. Watch the end of round 3 Cleverly vs Kovalev when O'connor saves Cleverly from a KO, Roy Jones the commentator even says thats home town cooking. Also terrible scoring of Tyson Fury vs Mcdermott.

Can't believe Mr Higgins didn't ask for a neutral ref in the CONTRACT. They are the champs. Can't believe he believed Peter Fury's comment that it will be neutral refs and judges. When Parker fought his last few fights, none of the judges or refs were from NZ.

Yeah the way I read the article is that there was no specific wording of "neutral ref" this may make it hard for them to pull out without financial repercussions. As for "I shook Peter Furys hand" Everyone know Pikeys are not to be trusted.

Floyd vs hatton - american ref
Calzaghe vs hopkins - american ref
Khan vs peterson - american ref

Well that last one was a robbery do not the best example but is pretty common.

If it's against the contract then 100% it shouldnt be accepted but if i had to guess i bet duco didn't get it put in the contract.

If you sell your fighter out to an overseas promoter especially one as amateur as mick Hennessey its kind of hard to be surprised at anything.

One thing i know is after this fight joe and fury both need new promoters

One biased Ref decision and Joe's title is gone for good.

Just the kind of thing I have been predicting. Dealing with the Furies is a nightmare.

It's probably a good thing, Parker now has to KO Fury, we all knew that Joe would struggle to get a points decision over in the UK, this is what we expected to happen.

Good motivation for Joe

Now that the Furys have bought their own ref it changes everything, 12 rounds of jab n grab coming up.
Hughies firmed to $2.05 on the Tab.
To win by decision is still $2.75 .. could be worth a bet at that money.
I think that Hughies mud , but the Furys are proving to be world class shysters

If the WBO rules say it must be a neutral ref Joe should pull out, there's too much at stake to take any unnecessary risks.
