If Parker gets past Hughie, I don't think he'll be ready for the next level yet. Bellew will help him if he can continue to fix his mainly defensive mistakes.
That's pragmatic die. But I personally consider way down beneath Jo's level and a cruiser at that. Bellew just got lucky with an already injured Haye. This bellew matchup is just another suckup to gullible home fight fans as I see it. They screwed the home public bigtime until the Takam fight, give us a break...

It's like now Joseph's the only fighter ever that's not allowed to fight weaker opposition .
I think in the last two years , he has consistently stepped up his level of opponents , more than anyone else in the division

Except that the Bellew fight would be in the UK, so it's clearly not a 'suck up to the gullible home fight fans'.
It's clearly about getting a decent pay day, and raising his profile in the UK.

AJ and Wilder faced the same level of competition as Parker, and they already had belts. And no one talked about them sucking up to home fights, knowing that AJ only fights in the UK and Wilder in Alabama or Barclay's. If anything, AJ was seen as infallible. We have a different standard in NZ for Parker.

Well i just dont know what to make of Tony Bellew anymore i mean ive picked against him repeatedly and he always proves me wrong. But tbh i see the guy as a bit of a circus now.
I already noted my reasons why i dont think he will fight parker anyway, i see a lot more financially lucrative offers for (what will be) a cash out fight.
But i think after hughie fury (which could be a really good learning fight) its time to push on.
Joshua
Klitschko (either of these two if they lose in a competetive fight)
Wilder
Pulev
Ortiz
Those are the guys id really like to see
Otherwise the tier just below them of bryant jennings, dillian whyte etc.
Plenty of options for good fights.

Infern0, he's really not ready for the first three on your list, and possibly Ortiz too. Bellew gets him in the UK with an easier fight for more $$$.

He is infallible, Sham. Until he fights someone good. Like Klit.
