The Kassi/Brezeale fight was far closer than the scorecards indicated, imo

I hope izu does die, i dont have any issues with him i think hes a far more complete fighter than JP

Infern0, I've always thought that Izu had better skills than JP. Not sure that necessarily translates to a better fighter. A lot will depend on what happens with Izu when he steps up. How's his chin? What happens when he's taken into deep waters? Lots of questions, hopefully, will be answered later this month. He and Parker are my favourite heavyweight fighters. Interestingly, Izu is rated the highest in Parker's alphabet, the WBO. Will they ever fight against each other. Wilder is a Haymon fighter. Wonder if Haymon will let them fight one another?

As this is a Parker vs Hughie thread and not an Izu thread, just wanted to add that I'm not sold on Parker either. Yet. He's been matched very well by Stu, and barely got past two tough possible contenders, Takam and Ruiz. And I think he'll beat Hughie by UD. But fighting AJ, Wilder, Tyson Fury, Ortiz, Haye, is a whole nother ballgame. I think he can beat all of those guys, but he needs to learn to circle when an opponent is coming at him, get out of the pocket after he throws his combos, get off the ropes and cover up (he's too high), and not be exposed when he goes to the body at range. He'll get knocked out if he does that with the guys I mentioned. He CAN get better and overcome these deficits, but he needs to do it. As KB says, he's a work in progress, and doing very well so far.
I agree with most of that.
I dont belive he jp can ever beat tyson fury, like ever. Too much gap in size, skill, movement. I see a fury at 100% as a level abovd all others, its going to take a very creative heavyweight (someone like vitali or lewis) to take him out

You rate Tyson Fury more than I do. To me, he's unproven, like Parker. Yes, he beat Chisora well, which is not easy. That's his best win in terms of performance. He beat a Klit that refused to fight. Granted, Fury had something to do with that, but I still blame Klit. I just need to see him in with some of the guys that I mentioned earlier to see how good he is. Guess I could say the same about the rest of them too. Problem is that, at least until now, they haven't fought each other. After AJ vs Klit, for instance, we'll see how good AJ is. Sham is sold on him, I'm not. Yet.
