I think everyone is rating DDD based on the AJ fight. He looked ordinary against Usyk and Miller.

Yeah agree Diehard, recency bias. Hrgovic was landing rights almost at will early in their fight. Usyk won almost every second of their fight. Miller was off the juice & getting touched by an old Browne before their fight. And let's not forget Lerena could have easily won if the fight had a different ref, the stoppage in that fight was also questionable.

Dubois' recent form needs to be acknowledged but it also has to be put into perspective. The Joshua win was nice, although I've never seen AJ perform that badly.

Yes AJ was primed for that beating as well
Not to take away from DDD but many of the top 10 HWs would have beaten AJ that night.
He was overconfident due to his last couple easy fights.
Warren won't let JP at DDD i feel- would have been easy fight to make/promote but likely to be someone like Efe Ajagba or Guido Vianello who are #7 and 14
Some mentioning Bakole and Kabayel but sure they are contracted to fight eachother.
And if Warren not keen on JP it ain't going to be ZZ who is No5

I like how JP is pushing and challenging DDD for that fight. Wouldn't look good for him to take on a lesser fight. Looks like if Usyk wins he wants a DDD rematch. JP will fill in nicely there as a in-between fight. I really want to see how JP fights with an improved training regime. I think he fights either ZZ or DDD next. The way he was talking, he already had a fight lined up, just need to sign the contracts.

ZZ had rematch clause and you would think he would be pushing hard to get his WBO interrim belt back..... or he didn't enjoy JP getting up and fighting strongerand figues JP has too much stamina...or
He has been promised another route to a title?

JP was the darling of Turki. And suddenly he can't get a fight on Dec. 21st. Any ideas why? I think ZZ doesn't want JP and is looking for a bigger fight with more $$$. JP has to fight him in the rematch clause if ZZ wants him. Clearly he doesn't. I think it's a money issue, and ZZ is looking for bigger fights.

Maybe ZZ has been told he gets a shot after TF v Usyk and doesn't want to risk a L before then
Surely a rematch has a time limit
Parker needs this DDD fight otherwise he may now be in the why bother basket
* A difficult night likely to go 12 rounds
*JP doesn't generate the $ - usually the B side
