I'll be shocked if Parker doesn't fight Hughie in NZ. Wilder is just a bargaining chip.

Has anyone noticed that all of Parkers big fights the opponents have no personality lol

Parker fury goes to purse bids:

So Hughie is definitely mandatory from the above article. Changes everything. Fight will be in the UK then.

Frank warren has booked the M.E.N arena for April 8th, apparently this is the card he wants this fight on.

Will be interesting to see who wins purse bid

Interesting that Parker is being forced to face a mandatory so quickly. It'll be a great fight no matter where it is. Will probably go the 12 because neither fighter seems to have massive power

RE: What's Next for Parker??? - diehard - 01-26-2017

Mr Higgins couldn't get an answer for ages from the WBO about Hayes being the mandatory, and if he waited until July, after Bellew, would Hughie then be the mandatory. Duco was looking at Miller if they couldn't come to terms with Hughie. Guess he finally got his answer. If the card is already set, i can't imagine, with Klit/AJ coming up, that this would be a huge purse bid in the UK. Look for Arum to maybe get involved to keep the fight in NZ. Anyone know how the purse bid works? Is it a secret bid, or like an auction?

Pretty sure that in the situation of a purse bid, both parties put in a single offer, their best. The highest offer is chosen.
