Many thanks for the link jamieson! Big mistake for Nyika to fight inside, and to fight southpaw. Might have gotten the same result, but later in the fight. Still, he could exchange from the outside when Jai came in close. I'm hoping Nyika learned heaps from the fight and will be a better fighter for it in the future.

Good on Nyika for showing bravery and going at Opetaia but in hindsight after r2 i thought he should have gone long and boxed...maybe delay inevitable but may have also made Opetaia work.
A lot of talk of Opetaia going to HW - I'm not convinced he can translate up...he is very heavy handed v cruisers but will it be enough v an elite heavy??
Fury, Bakole , ZZ etc

I think David should target Badou Jack
Opetaia is chasing Ramiraz so why not go after the last remaining belt. Jack is tough but is past his best a winnable fight.

So soon? Figured he'd take an easier fight. But he still seems to have confidence, realising that he's faced a true champ. But yes, I also think he can beat Jack if he fights at range. I'm wondering if Nyika decided to go toe to toe with Opetaia because Jai doesn't fight as well and runs when he gets hurt, like with Briedis. That may be true, but that needed to happen in the later rounds.

Maybe not next up - not sure if Jack has anything lined up but get a win first then target him....
