Loma and Katie fights can't wait
OK bart, can you get your techies ready?  No outside appointments, weddings, pre-winter festivities.  Not optimistic, but I'll have a gander at SKY just in case.

Loma a 3-1 underdog.  A quiet $50 on Loma???
He is on the case already
Yeah my son is thinking of that exact bet

Bart, hopefully your son didn't listen to me and saved his money. Does almost count? Coulda gone either way.

Saw the Taylor fight. I thought that Cameron won that fight with the harder punches, but Katie's flurries were a sight to behold. She needs to pull her hair back like Cameron did because when she gets hit, her hair flies all over the place. Not a good look for the judges, or hair styliests.
He lost his money but won on a MMA fight so came out even.
Yeah Katies hair was a paulie malignaggi moment, actually was blocking her vision for a bit.
Her flurries were great and she is a champ but Cameron just took them and replied... too strong.
A different game plan may see Katie sneak a rematch win but Cameron could also improve
I don't know about another fight plan. That was the best of Katie. She's just not a strong enough puncher at that weight. As you said, Cameron will take her punches and keep coming. Maybe different judges?
Weekend Boxing Odds

Full slate of boxing action this Saturday. Here are the current odds:

Hometown hero Michael Conlan is a slight -128 favorite to dethrone current IBF featherweight champion Luis Alberto Lopez on ESPN+ from the SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

WBA featherweight champion Mauricio Lara is a 3:1 favorite to repeat his win over former champ Leigh Wood on DAZN from the AO Arena in Manchester, England.

WBO cruiserweight champion Laurence Okolie is better than a 3:1 pick over #1 rated Chris Billam-Smith on FITE+ from Vitality Stadium in Bournemouth, England.

WBO #1 welterweight Alexis Rocha is a wide 14:1 pick against WBO #10 rated Anthony Young on DAZN from Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, California. Also on that card, WBO minimumweight champion Melvin Jerusalem is better than a 2:1 favorite against WBO #1 Oscar Collazo.
Billam-Smith dethrones WBO cruiser champ Okolie

WBO #1 contender and hometown favorite Chris Billam-Smith (18-1, 12 KOs) defeated and dethroned previously unbeaten WBO cruiserweight champion Lawrence Okolie (19-1, 14 KOs) by twelve round majority decision on Saturday night at Vitality Stadium in Bournemouth, England. Billam-Smith dropped Okolie in round four. Okolie was hurt but managed to survive the round. Okolie was deducted a point for holding in round five. Okolie was deducted another point for holding in round seven. Billam-Smith looked like he was running out of gas in round eight. Okolie went to his knees in round ten and Billam-Smith was credited with another knockdown although it appeared to be a pushdown. Billam-Smith scored another questionable knockdown in round eleven. In the end, Billam-Smith won by scores of 112-112, 116-107, 115-108.
