I just re-read a stuff article from March this year about Meehan-Parker and found this gem near the end;
"Meehan's manager, Adam Watt, indicated his charge could fight Parker and then Tua, provided he gets in shape, this year.
"We have a contract to fight David Tua at the end of the year," Watt revealed. "That's the ultimate goal"

You saw him recently Die - what do you think the chances are that he "gets in shape"

So according to Boxrec, the top 10 NZ Heavyweights are:
1. Joseph Parker
2. Sonny Bill Williams
3. Chauncy Welliver
4. Hemi Ahio
5. Junior Iakopo
6. Nohit Singh (last three "fights" in Mexico apparently)
7. Brice Ritani Coe
8. Thomas Peato
9. Julius Long
10. Kaleni Taetuli (the guy who's one and only fight is beating BBB)
Kaleni and Nohit being in there doesn't seem fair to guys like:
11. Junior Pati
12. Will Quarrie
13. Tafa Misipati
14. Richard Tutaki
17. Bubba Tuigamala
I'm bored...

tm7 the NZ Ratings have always been hard to follow, a loss puts you down the rating while a win puts you up it seems regardless of quality, maybe it works the same internationally if so, would explain some deficiancies. Rohit Singh has always been a mystery, never had a credible fight so it seems, nz promoters know him well as a jackup artist and applied to get his name taken off the ratings list but funnily it still appears. Rohit turned down all fights against anyone on nz ratings..

I've seen some of his alleged fights on YouTube. Not even good acting, let alone boxing.
