Junior Fa (10-0, 7 KO) made his U.S. debut versus southpaw Keith Barr (17-11-1, 7 KO) in a heavyweight bout scheduled for six. The 6’5″ New Zealander towered over his opponent, who did his best work in the clinches but offered little sustained offense. The second round was a dominant one for Fa, who threw dozens of punches in the last minute, mostly unanswered by Barr–leading to a knockdown late in the round. Barr beat the count and continued, but it started to look like target practice. Near-identical lefts to the body put Barr down again in the third–twice–leading to the ref stoppage at 2:36 of the round.
