Izu could be stepping in to fight breazele
#11
Same level, but Takam and Ruiz would beat him I think. Breazeale was good enough to be selected as a contender for a world title held by AJ. Ruiz and Takam have never fought a title holder. In saying that, Breazeale is not on the alphabet's top 15 now. Ruiz and Takam are. What I'm saying is that Breazeale would do for Izu what Takam did for Parker. Make him a legit threat to a title shot.

Think Brezeale vs Takam or ruiz are all good fights. Breazele isn't useless for a big man

I see Brezeale as step down from Takam and Ruiz, due to lack of skill and a predictable style. But I get what you mean, this would put Izu on peoples radar as a true contender, if, he dispatches Breazeale in style. My thoughts are if Izu is lucky enough to get the fight then it will go 12 rounds, UD Izu.

Spoke with Stu, who's match-making the fight. Said it's on boxrec but not signed off yet. Here's hoping...

Will Kevin Barry still train Izu?

Yes, he will. But I was surprised that Stu was still matching Izu as his promoter, Al Haymon, has a huge organisation with heaps of fighters in his stable. Izu must have said he wanted to keep Stu and KB.

Wow super excited for this fight. It's not exciting in styles but just good to finally gage how good Izu is.
