Would be much, much cheaper to watch it at home Infern0. Damn, it would be cheaper to rent out a corporate table than watch it at the casino!

Boxrec Aussie schedule has Gunnar Jacksons re arranged fight with Rocky Jerkic down for November, for the vacant commonwealth belt. I wonder if this means the proposed Bowyn Morgan fight is off this card.

Oh I can just see how they are going to spin this one...
"The only guy that beat Carlos Takam other than Parker and Povetkin".

Very disappointing. It may be a slight step up but Izu will slaughter him. Weren't we promised a top 20 opponent?

That's exactly what they will promote it as. He might take Izu a few rounds but I don't think he'll like Izu's power.

Slightly disappointing, but not hugely so. Looks like every time he steps up he loses. Has fought some decent competition, and like Msreef says, he beat Takam. He's also as big as Izu. And yeah, I would have preferred someone in the top 20. Stu says he has trouble finding Izu opponents, and he will if the fight is in NZ.

He won't pose a threat, but he'll be the biggest name on Izu's resume. Step in the right direction from that perspective... Whatever happened to Richard Towers btw? I'd forgotten about that guy....

He wass scheduled to fight Dave Allen earlier this but pulled out with an injury. No clues since then, hes never been the most active of fighters but apparantly hes still in the gym.

Was always one of the suggested "tall guy" warmup opponents ...
