Awesome. Il be tuning in backing my man Arreola but as I've said in a previous post his punch resistance is not what it used to be and I can't see him hanging round for very long. Wilder By KO - Round 4

Wilder in no trouble here so far against a very shot Arreola. Which journeyman will he fight after this?

This was very, very bad. Arreola a punching bag. You're right, he was shot. No power, no speed.

Wilder stops Arreola, retains WBC heavyweight title

By Tracy Morin at ringside

Unbeaten WBC heavyweight champion Deontay “The Bronze Bomber” Wilder (37-0, 36 KOs) retained his title with an eighth round TKO over Chris “The Nightmare” Arreola (36-5-1, 31 KOs) on Saturday night at the Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama. Wilder dropped Arreola in round four, then staggered him badly at the bell. Wilder apparently injured his right hand and used it sparingly after that. Arreola staggered back to his stool after round seven. Arreola’s stopped the beating after round eight.

Pathetic title shot. Right up there with Martin vs AJ and AJ vs Brazeale.

You gotta admit he was overpaid, the heavyweight division (excluding Joshua and Parker) is a bit of a joke at the moment.
