Messam fought well , Scott def bigger puncher and 13 years younger....
4 round fight Scott took first 3 close rounds Messam landed and finished the fight looking like he could take Scott out but doesn't have that KO power.

Rugby World Cup winner Liam Messam has been defeated by NRL champion Curtis Scott in a unanimous decision.
With just two weeks notice, Messam accepted the challenge to fight former NRL champion Curtis Scott as part of Stan Sport's Uncaged extravaganza in Penrith on Wednesday night.
Messam won the last round but Scott had the better of the first three, Wide World of Sport reported.
"Messam has hit Curtis Scott with probably eight good shots in that final round, and he barely staggered. Liam's not a power puncher, and he's fatigued as well, so they had the gas out of those shots, and he's not a puncher. A very fair decision," Danny Green said on Stan Sport.
"A really, really entertaining bout," he said.
Heading into the heavyweight bout, Messam, 40, had a 7-0-1 professional boxing record while Scott, 27, was also unbeaten at 3-0.
Scott is now 4-0 as a professional boxer.
The former Canberra Raiders centre was exiled from the NRL after being convicted of shocking domestic violence crimes in 2022.
Ahead of the fight, Messam told promoters “I think I made the wrong decision [saying yes to the bout] but said he was putting in the work anyway.
