I agree Sham. Hearn took the right option. The opponent and $$$ was so much better for AJ to to fight Klit. My point is that AJ had an option to take the Parker fight BEFORE Fury opted out. He waited it out, for a week or so, and the Fury/Klit fight fell apart. I don't blame Hearn for waiting to see what would happen with Fury, as he was in doubt for the Klit fight given the rumours.

Hearn took the right option for shore. Old lion vs new, it would be to easy to sell this fight. Thing is Hearn wouldn't be scared either as Klit has really strugled since the Jennings fight. Money for days, easy to sell to fans and a past out of form former world champ.

I would skip the hungry young lion, that's been on form. Ecspecially when there are less dollars to be made and a bigger risk. This was a no brainer.

Both are undefeated and have not faced tough opponents. Fury is ranked 5th with the IBF and in the top 15 in two other alphabets. Izu is ranked 12th in the IBF. I'd be shocked if Hughie came over to NZ to fight. Good boxing skills, no power:

Hughie has only just turned 22 which makes him still a baby as a super heavyweight. He won't hit prime for a few years.
Izu is 30 years old he shouldn't be calling out 22 year old prospects but established contenders
Very talented though hughie, one to watch

Too old to call someone out? Hughie is ranked #5 and better get used to it.
