If he still has anything left, and he wins, he will have an IBF belt and can fight Fury even if Fury loses. Retire? Why does he need this? Fight another fighter? It's a long climb back to the top.
Personally I think he should walk away & enjoy his fortune. He looked like he has regressed so much, making rookie mistakes. Pulling back, chin up, left down by his waist. His punch resistance seems gone as well or more so his ability to recover.
I think they'll wait to see what happens with Usyk vs Fury II. A Fury fight is another big event, even if he loses again.
The rematch is there but I think whatever confidence Joshua had left is now gone, his timidness & inability to dictate & the fact that Dubois was able to take his shots & he was unable to take Daniel's is a recipe for disaster.
I'm sure Joshua will fight again, if he does I think he should take the Frank Bruno route of rebuilding. There are still exciting fights that can be made involving Joshua, the Wilder fight is now back in the mix, a Parker rematch, some of the other British heavyweights on the scene. It'll be interesting to see how his win/ loss record goes if he does continue.
