Golovkin KOs Monroe in six

WBA and WBC Interim middleweight champion Gennady “GGG” Golovkin (33-0, 30 KOs) scored a sixth round KO over Willie “The Mongoose” Monroe Jr. (19-2, 6 KOs) on Saturday night at the Forum in Inglewood, California. Glolovkin dropped Monroe twice in round two. Monroe survived the round and staged a small rally in round four. Golovkin floored Monroe again in round six and the bout was waved off. Time was :45. It was the 20th consecutive KO by GGG.
