I think Junior did well, so many people were saying he was gonna get stopped but he didn't even come close to being stopped, he showed he belonged and what's more I think he actually has a better fight in him than that.

Yep technically I thought he was better than JP who just looked the same v Conjanu and Hughie, no setups just head down chasing and missing- weirdly thats what won him the fight

I think Fa could make a case that he won that fight. More accurate, and probably hit him with more shots. I thought that was the best I've seen Fa fight. His punches were crisp, accurate, and he countered well. I feel better about him now. Parker? Gotta get rid of KB and his fight style.

Fa stank up the joint with hugging.
Left even Wlad in the dust.
Why did the ref not warn Fa for holding? Fa clinched up to 12 TIMES per round.
That is not a strategy to be rewarded - and I'm glad the judges punished him.
Made them both look bad.

Die I agree re KB
I was always against when people were calling for a change a couple years back but now I feel its the only chance JP has of progression.
It doesn't have to be a ugly split - part ways and still be mates.
I was thinking Sugar Hill but what about
Atlas
Peter Furey
etc
Otherwise next step up he loses again and fades away

Parker next faces a guy that actually COMES TO FIGHT
I will judge him by his Chisora performance - not this hugfest
Total smothering tactics should be banned from the sport
The fact that the hugging semi-succeeded is the real nightmare. Wlad was good at it too - but at least he went for knockouts. Fa did not.
This is not the sport of "hugging". Don't tell me that is "good boxing".

You're right kiwi. Not a good look. Both guys did it, but mainly Fa. I guess that was his strategy, to frustrate and tie up Parker. Yes, the Chisora fight should be different. I thought Rebel did a good job of stopping each one, but there needed to be a warning for it continuing at some point.

I reckon JP does better with guys who come after him so will probably perform v Chisora.
He looks clueless when he has to push the fight
