Hard to get up for Wallin, Ortiz etc

Chisora or Wilder the public will turn up for, but Hearn can’t risk the goose they will wait

RE: AJ/Usyk Sunday. DAZN - bart - 03-05-2022

It will be a non title fight so that lessens $$ involved so probably discounts Wilder which is the fight I would most like to see.
Ortiz won't fight for lower $ and AJ wouldn't fancy it
Wallin too awkward and unless AJ KO's him it could lower AJ's stock
Chisora... no one will buy it
If he takes a fight it will be a guarantee win

RE: AJ/Usyk Sunday. DAZN - diehard - 03-05-2022

So...who do you have left for AJ to fight, bart?

Me, I'm with you on Wilder. It would be a mega fight with $$$. Probably as big if not bigger than Usyk, and a better match-up than Usyk. And, AJ doesn't have the title anyway. With Usyk and Fury ruling the roost, AJ/Wilder is the next best thing.

Maybe a AJ/Ruiz trilogy, although I don't want to see a fat Ruiz fight again.

RE: AJ/Usyk Sunday. DAZN - bart - 03-05-2022

Ruiz would prob turn it down with no titles on the line- he will struggle to get another title shot.
Possibly someone like Dempsey Mckean as he is a matchroom fighter with an inflated ranking- southpaw so they can say its in prep for Usyk...
Thats the level I believe they would go.
AJ wouldn't want Wilder- I believe he would drop Wilder once or twice early but lose by devastating KO

RE: AJ/Usyk Sunday. DAZN - diehard - 03-05-2022

So what's wrong with a great fight for big $$$'s??? Title be damned, Usyk isn't fighting anytime soon, Fury is looking to retire, and an AJ win over Wilder (if he can do it) results in a huge AJ/Fury fight in Wembley. I wish Usyk the best, but he has another fight on his hands, to the death, right now, that is far more important.

RE: AJ/Usyk Sunday. DAZN - bart - 03-05-2022

yes makes sense to us but not to promotors etc
Fury says he will retire every few months... means sweet FA

RE: AJ/Usyk Sunday. DAZN - diehard - 03-06-2022

I don't see why promoters can't think more like us. We're giving them great fights. Heaps of $$$'s. Excitement from boxing fans. Lots of copy for the journos. We're a promoters dream with our ideas. And the fighters? They get to go up against the best with a chance to make heaps of $$$'s and stay relevant.

Here ya' go. Wilder is on the list. Although, like you say, AJ avoids him. But that is the biggest fight and $$$.
