hi all. very disappointing for us as junior was in great shape. essentially had a hard day trining 2.5 weeks ago and had a reaction to it. this caused some problems which we picked up really quickly. sadly damage was done inside that caused the doctor to pull the fight. Didn't even get a chance to keep going. now a surgery today and some recovery. fingers crossed we are all go for early Jan back in camp. hope your all well

Bummer. But you guys need to think of the long game. Jr needs to be healthy to have a chance against anybody of note. And for his own sake. Hopefully, the surgery corrects his problem.

Glad he getting it sorted before the fight - sick of fighters coming out after a loss saying they need surgery etc

I think it seems unlikely because Peach promotions are already putting Light/Mose and Michailovich/Singh on at the ABA before Christmas but it'd be a good replacement for January. Hemis not as good Fa but he'd certainly have a punchers chance though, it's the heavyweight division after all.
