This will be a tactical but hopefully not over cautious fight.
The Tua - Cameron bout had needle - I actually thought Shane did nothing wrong calling out Tua but David took it personal. It helped Tua motivation wise and they both made good coin.
This fight is 20% personal (all fights have to have some) but 80% business and rankings motivated.
I think Tua was happy to get the $ but his motivation was personal and not related to rankings etc, hence why he didn't take advantage of the devastating victory and push forward.

He did. He fought Friday and Monte (twice). I just think Tua was good enough to beat Cameron, but had reached his ceiling given his age and inactivity. Friday was a so so fighter, as was Monte. I was at the Friday fight. He looked good, but not outstanding. And then Monte put him down.
I hope Parker is different. He may? be good enough to beat Fa, but can be beat Chisora and Usyk/Joyce? I think he can, but he better find some power.

Good weigh-in. Fa looks much bigger than Joe, especially around the chest. I think it's been the best I've seen Jr look. I believe there's about a 10 kg weight difference.

I agree re Friday but Monte was supposed to be a stay busy fight that turned out a nightmare and had to redeem himself. You are right about age and inactivity. Tua needed to be fully focused - diet and training= motivation. I am hoping JP has it... he says right things but needs to show it saturday

Nope, Parker is undisciplined too, just not as bad as Tua. Would come into training out of shape, and KB would have to spend half the camp getting him in shape. Not so much weight wise, but that was part of it. Even for the AJ fight, Parker said he used to skip out for junk food. Man, I don't know what's wrong with Parker's physique. My chest is bigger than his, and my arms the same size. And I'm more than double his age and half as big. Someone showed a before and after picture: when he was in shape and when he wasn't. Huge difference, so he can get there. In saying that, Fa looks to be in the best shape of his career.

in the videos leading up he looked great.
Then (I only saw small piece ) at weigh in he looked lacklustre... ahh well physique isn't everything.
Agree re Duva.. I reckon david needed a professional setup away from backslappers and temptation (food )

In addition to Duva, he had a good stable, Holy included. Great environment and sparring. He then thought he could go on his own. Big mistake. I think Duva wasn't pushing hard enough for a title shot, from memory.
Yes, Parker looked great a few weeks ago. Don't know what happened. With me, it's about his power more than his physique. With Parker, one equals the other. But, I think he'll be too fast for Jr.
