Wow, Diehard. An eye-opening article
I still believe Tua would have been a hundred times better off to stay with Barry (and even Pugh)
He totally derailed his career and shot himself in the foot over and over by suing his management
Same thing happens with lots of bands and singers, etc. If they sue their record companies or managers it often ruins their entire momentum

Duva woulda made him a champ. Those were his best years. KB and Peewww? Hard for Tua to stay with a man who was robbing you blind, and had the resource (that woman in the office) to prove it. Tua's mistake was not settling earlier on and getting hit with huge lawyer bills by a fellow Samoan. He needed to put it behind him, get whatever money he could before it hit the courts, and get another management team. I'd ironically have Barry broker the deal between Tua and Peewww before getting rid of him.

Tua created his own misery by being so stubborn about his situation and failing to look at the long game. He ended up not getting a title and almost broke. Hard to blame him when someone stole the money that Tua earned. Still, he needed to be smarter.
