KB was in Izu's corner, and will be there with JP when he fights FUry. The standard is high for these guys and KB isn't the man to take them through it.

To be fair Izu dominated round one , Brezeale barely landed a punch .
Breazeale started using is jab in the second and looked better but still lost the round .
It was a minute into the third that Izu stopped boxing decided he could just bang Brezeale out ,
I'd be surprised if that was part of the game plan
All he achieved was getting clipped , it was any bodies fight after that until he got hit by that big right hand.
Barry will take the rap but Izu would have have won if he boxed clever

Ah, come on. Izu all but had him outta there. He was looking to finish the job when he got caught and never recovered. Happens. If he had finished the job, we'd all say that Izu would be ready for Wilder.

A Ko stoppage negates all possibilities and makes one the winner of the fight. Can't change that.

i think he went lactic to be fair. once lactic acid is in the body only an aerobic cycle can get rid of it, which is impossible to go for a 5 minute run in the middle of the fight . I also think that kidney shot from behind after the bell of the 3rd should have been called a foul and the corner could have asked for 5 minutes recovery. this would have got is back on track with lactic possibly

Asking for a 5 minute recovery from a contentious foul then is the coaches perogatve. Why didn't KB step up to the plate?
