It looks like Molina is fighting AJ in Manchester on Dec 10th.

So, how would a matchup between Molina and Izu go down?

I think Izu would be too slick of Eric, and KO him in the later rounds.

RE: Izu Ugonoh - craigyid14 - 10-28-2016

We need duco to put Izu in with someone with a pulse to find out how good he is, Molina has a feint pulse.

RE: Izu Ugonoh - Infern0 - 10-28-2016

For all we know izu has the worst glass jaw the sport has ever seen. We know nothing about him.

Right now I'll take the far more proven fighter in molina

RE: Izu Ugonoh - bopman - 10-28-2016

Molina vs Izu dam that would be a huge step up. Duco can't afford molina. Izu will be fighting bums for ages

Quite easy to sideline all AJS opponents as this site tends to do, realistically speaking I see only Ortiz and perhaps a rejunivated Wlad to give him trouble. Comparisons between AJ and homeboy JP have ruined sane rhetoric. I can see AJ with all the belts if he gets the competition.
Suggestions of Izu Vs AJ is the most rediculous fighter undermining I have seen.

RE: Izu Ugonoh - NakiFan - 10-28-2016

I suppose you could ask yourself Shamrock...

Would IZU put up a better display than:

Whyte, Martin or Brazealle or Molina?

If you said yes to any of them, putting him in with AJ, considering he IS ranked in the top 15 IBF, is an option. Not the best option, as he needs to fight that top 50 opponent, but an option regardless.

RE: Izu Ugonoh - diehard - 10-28-2016

Let me repeat myself: AJ, Parker, Fury, Klit, Wilder, Ortiz, Haye, Povetkin. They need to fight one another. Anything less and Izu has as good a chance as anybody. Sham, who has AJ fought in the top ten that informs your reasoning?

I DID tell Mr Higgins and Stu that I wanted Izu to fight a top ten guy for my birthday present. We'll see if it comes gift rapped.

The facts are that all AJs opponents are lucky to be considered in the top 30. Martin is actually pretty good and I rate him to some degree, but he didn't come to fight, he came from the payday, that's evident from his terrible performance.

I look forward to AJ fighting a proven top 10 opponent, because only then will we get a true gauge of just how good he is. He's had pretty much everything his own way so far, let's see him outside his comfort level, let's see him against an opponent that can move well, or fight on the inside well, or push him back.

RE: Izu Ugonoh - shamrock - 10-28-2016

Let's go back to JP, he only survived a lack lustre Takam in his best fight to date. I see AJ dispatching that Takam in 3 rounds with his Whyte fight in the background where he stopped the grudge ridden Whyte after being briefly paused with a wild right. I purposely can't see anyone else getting that close. Wlad did say he thought AJ the best of the up n comers. AJ has ended most of his fights in emphatic fashion. it was AJ made Martin look pedestrian.
